Where can I refill my Gas Bottle? For example in the Netherlands, gas bottles may not be filled directly onto the bottle at the pump.
A gas bottle must be equipped with an 80% filling limiter, be properly secured in the vehicle and have an external filling connection.
Filling may be only permitted at and by authorized filling stations. This depends on national regulations.
Filling instructions:
1. Close the gas bottle valve.
2. Mount the filling pipe or filling adapter on the gas bottle. (First dismantle any pressure regulator, filter and/or intake line.)
3. Connect the filling nozzle to the filling connection.
4. Open the gas bottle valve again.
5. Fill the gas bottle with the desired amount (max 80%).
6. After refueling, close the gas bottle valve again.
7. Disconnect the filling nozzle and the filling pipe / filling coupling. (Be careful! Some LPG may be released)
8. Reconnect the pressure regulator/take-off line to the gas bottle.
