Shipments

General information

Packages are generally shipped within 2 working days after receipt of your payment via DPD, DHL, UPS or Dachser with tracking and delivery without signature. If you prefer shipment with a required signature, additional charges will apply. Please contact us before choosing this delivery method. Whichever shipment you choose, you will receive a tracking number from us with which you can track your package online.

Shipping costs include handling, packaging and postage. Handling costs are fixed amounts, while transport costs depend on the total weight. We recommend that you place your items in one order. We cannot always combine two orders placed separately, so shipping costs will usually be charged for each order. Your package is sent at your own risk, but special care is taken with fragile items.

Our boxes are large enough to send your items well protected.

 

Shipments & Pick up

Below we try to explain as best as possible how we send orders and how everything works.
(All about order pick-up can be found a little further down this page.)
Type of delivery location: The transport companies ask us to indicate whether the delivery location is a residential address or a business location. This is partly due to the delivery times and delivery days. Companies are often only open during the day and during the week, while private individuals are more often present in the evening and/or at the weekend.
Important: If you, as a private individual, choose to have the package delivered to a company address (for example, at your work), please also provide the company name. If only your own name is mentioned on the package, the delivery person may not recognize the address and will mark the package as misdirected and return it. This costs unnecessary time and money.
Address check: We notice more and more often that customers fill in their details incorrectly. Then, for example, typing errors in the email address or street name, the lack of a house number or a wrong zip code. This ensures that confirmation emails do not arrive properly, orders cannot be sent or that packages are returned with extra costs and delays as a result.
We therefore ask you to pay extra attention when entering your details and to check whether it is all correct and complete. After we have sent a package, an address change is no longer possible. We will unfortunately have to pass on the additional costs caused by incorrect data to you.
Packaging material: We try to reuse as much used packaging and filling material as possible in order not to burden the environment more than necessary. It is therefore possible that you will find different types of filling materials in your order and that the box may not be completely new. In any case, we always do our best to pack your order as well and properly as possible. We hope you appreciate our working method.
Multiple shipments: If you order several products from us at the same time, we may send your order in two or more different shipments, because, for example, not all items are available at one and the same shipping location. Any additional shipping costs we incur will not be charged to you. You will receive a message from us that you will receive multiple packages and the associated tracking links.
One-time delivery attempt: Parcel deliverers now only make one delivery attempt. The package then goes to a collection point near you, where the package can be collected. Note: Identification is often required, so bring ID.

 

The shipping costs depend on various factors (such as the delivery destination, the total weight of the order, the total amount, etc.). We cannot simply specify them here. Carriers also regularly change their rates.

Therefore, the easiest way to view the shipping costs is to place the desired products in the shopping cart and specify the destination. Then the shipping costs will be calculated and shown to you.

 

In general, orders placed before 2:00 PM are shipped the same day. After that time it sometimes wants to succeed, but it becomes more difficult. See explanations below.

By default we ship with DPD or if it is more favorable in some situations with DHL.

In some cases we ship (partial) orders from Germany with UPS. (more on this below).

Parcel shipments within the Netherlands

Shipments within the Netherlands are usually delivered the next day. But in case of extra crowds (such as around November and December) this can also take longer. Please keep this in mind.

Parcel shipments with DPD.

By default, we send parcels with DPD. We cannot guarantee that orders placed after 14:00 will be shipped the same day. So preferably place your order before 13:00, so that we still have enough time to pack and label your order neatly.

 

Parcel shipments with DHL.

We also send packages with DHL. When the DHL driver comes to collect the packages from us, the packages are not yet scanned. This only happens in the evening when they have been delivered to the sorting center and are processed there. At that time you will receive an email from DHL with the tracking and status of your shipment. During busy periods, packages may not be scanned until the following evening.

DHL distinguishes between residential addresses and business locations. For example, DHL delivers to residential addresses on working days and Saturdays. At company locations, deliveries are only made on working days during office hours.

 

Packages sent from Germany with UPS / DHL / Fedex.

In the event that we do not have a certain product in stock ourselves, we look at the possibility of having it shipped by our colleague company in Germany. As a rule, they can ship the fastest with UPS. You will not be charged any additional shipping costs for this. As soon as the tracking code is known to us, we will share it with you via email or otherwise via your account. A shipment from Germany takes on average 1 to 2 days longer.

 

Parcel shipments to countries outside the Netherlands

Below we provide an overview of parcel shipments abroad.

Important: For shipments abroad, it is extra important that the address is specified correctly and completely without typing errors. We notice that drivers return the package even with a small typing error. High return costs are charged for this, which unfortunately we also have to pass on to the customer. A change of address afterwards is often not possible.

Pallet shipments above 30 kg with DHL or Dachser

If a product weighs more than 30 kg, it can only be sent on a pallet. This applies, for example, to a medium to large LPG tank.

 

Pick up at Ekkersrijt in Son (near Eindhoven)

Do you want to save shipping costs and do you live or work near Eindhoven? (or will you visit there soon). Then picking up the products may be a good solution for you.

You can NOT pay at the pick-up location. It is therefore necessary that you have completed your online order and payment first. We can then prepare your order for you and you can pick up your order after 2 days. Pick up times are listed below. You will receive instructions from us by email after your order.

Pay afterwards (via Billink or In3 or Afterpay) NOT possible in combination with pick up.
