This adapter is intended for gas bottles with a SHELL connection WITHOUT rubber seal (type G.5).
It is difficult to connect a pressure regulator or filling adapter to this type of SHELL connection (G.5 Kombi (G.2 / G.4 / G.8)), because these are usually only suitable for the SHELL connection (G.12) with a rubber sealing ring.
