Gas Switch AEB722A with gas Cranking, Gas Level Indication & Safety-Car relay for carburetor engine

This type of LPG switch is used in combination with classic LPG systems in vehicles with a carburettor. The switch is equipped with a push button with which the type of fuel can be selected (Petrol/LPG) and a number of LEDs for the LPG tank capacity indication. The switch remembers the last selected position (Petrol/LPG) and when starting in LPG mode, the system starts immediately on gas (with a set choke time). An emptying time of the carburetors is used for switching from petrol to gas and optionally a filling time of the carburetors can also be activated when switching back from gas to petrol. The switch also has a built-in safety relay.

Optional Tank sensor: 
A tank sensor is not included with this product and depends on the type of LPG tank. Here you will find suitable 0-90 Ohm tank sensors for a 4-hole tank or for a Multivalve LPG tank.

NB! Power the switch from a fused 12V source (Max. 5A). Use an external 5-pole relay (not included) to energize the gas shut-off valves. So do not feed it directly from the switch. (See enclosed diagram).

Application and use:
The LPG switch is suitable for vehicles with a carburetor and LPG conversion with an electric vaporizer. A number of aspects can be set such as A: the choke time, B: with only a drain time applied (for the carburetors when switching from petrol to gas) or with emptying time and filling time (for filling the carburetors when switching back from gas to petrol ) and C: the type of tank sensor signal for a correct content indication. The switch can be set for the following types of tank sensor signals: AEB sensor, 0-4700 Ohm sensor, 0-90 Ohm sensor, Spare Sensor. (Further refer to the instruction manual for the setting procedure.)

The built-in safety relay ensures that the gas shut-off valves close within one second after any accidental engine stop, so that the gas supply is stopped.

The desired choke time can be set from 0 - 8 sec. which facilitates starting the vehicle on gas by briefly opening the gas shut-off valves the set choke time when the ignition is switched on before starting.
