This two-stage pressure regulator reduces the pressure from the LPG vapor tank or gas bottle to a constantly lower working pressure of 30/50 mbar (depending on the version) for the rest of the gas installation and the connected equipment with a max. flow capacity of 5 kg/h.
The vapor tank pressure regulator reduces the pressure from the LPG tank or gas bottle to a lower pressure of 30 mbar for the rest of the gas installation and ensures a constant and correct gas pressure for the connected equipment.
Application:
Reduction (adjustment) of the gas pressure to 30 mbar with a maximum flow capacity of 5 kg/h.
- Only suitable for vapor gas from vapor tank. NOT suitable for liquid LPG)
- Pressure regulator has a pressure relief valve. For this reason, these parts may not be placed inside (the living space of) a motorhome or caravan. These serve in a ventilated room, which is connected to the outside air and not connected to the indoor space.
WARNING: Pay good attention to the flow direction indicated with an arrow on the product.
Tank side: (Inlet) connect to the small side
Gas withdrawal: OUT, connect to the large side
Connections:
The regulator input has an internal thread of 1/4" NPT female thread (Female).
The output of the regulator is 3/8” NPT female thread (Female).
As an extra option you can also order the reducer couplings to 8mm. These couplings make it possible to connect the pressure regulator to an 8mm pipe using 8mm compression fittings for 8mm copper pipe or plastic pipe with 8mm end pieces;
Mount these couplings on the pressure regulator using sealing gas tape.
MORE INFORMATION:
This LPG pressure regulator for horizontal LPG tanks or gas bottles prevents liquid gas from running into the pipeline and ensures a working pressure of 50 mbar. This two-stage gas pressure regulator is equipped with blow-off protection and a mounting plate.
EXTRA INFORMATION
Since 2002, a pressure of 30 mbar has been prescribed for gas installations in vehicles. Before the year 2002, both 30 mbar and 50 mbar were used in motorhomes and caravans. Make sure you choose a pressure regulator that supplies the correct gas pressure for the connected equipment.
NB: Note the direction of connection (direction of flow). See arrow on product.
Tank side: IN, connection to small stage and Offtake side: OUT, connection to large stage
Choose whether you order the pressure regulator WITH or WITHOUT reducing couplings to 8mm.
Safety instructions:
- Mount the pressure regulator in an outdoor area or ventilated area. The pressure regulator has a pressure relief valve. For this reason, these parts may not be placed inside (the cabin) of a motorhome or caravan. These serve in a ventilated room, which is connected to the outside air and not connected to the indoor space.
- Read the instructions as supplied with the pressure regulator
NB! Mount the reducers on the pressure regulator using sealing gas tape or locking compound to ensure a good seal.
Only suitable for gas in vapor form from LPG vapor tank or gas bottle. (NOT suitable for liquid LPG)
Note the connection direction (flow direction) of both the gas filter and the pressure regulator. See arrow on product. Supply: IN, connection to small staircase and Offtake: OUT, connection to large staircase
TIP! Provide the parts with a protective coating such as a transparent tectile, for example, so that they are well protected against water and dirt from the outside.
