This allows you to lower the gas pressure from the vapor gas tank or gas bottle to a working pressure of 25-50 mbar for gas-consuming appliances such as the gas stove, heating, refrigerator, etc.
1-stage pressure regulator adjustable in 11 steps from 25-50 mbar with a flow capacity of 1-4 kg/h, depending on the output pressure.
The pressure regulator is only suitable for outdoor use. Because the pressure regulator has a pressure relief valve, it can blow off gas pressure if necessary. For this reason, the pressure regulator must not be used indoors, but outdoors or in a ventilated area (for example, the gas tank of a caravan)
Function & Application: This 1-stage pressure regulator fits directly on a gas bottle with a shell G.12 connection and reduces the gas pressure from the gas bottle to a constant lower working pressure of 25-50 mbar (depending on the adjustment) for the rest of the gas installation and the connected equipment with a max. flow capacity of 1.5 kg/h.
Connections to pressure regulator:
The input of the pressure regulator has a shell G.12 connection with KLF gland. This fits gas bottles with a Shell G.12 connection, ie with a rubber sealing ring.
Some gas bottles have Shell G.5 (without rubber sealing ring). In that case, we recommend using our adapter from G.5 to G.12.
Cavagna low pressure regulator type 755 for a gas bottle with G.12 connection and suitable for any type of LPG (mixing ratio propane / butane).
XTRA INFORMATION
Since 2002, a pressure of 30 mbar has been prescribed for gas installations in vehicles. Before the year 2002, both 30 mbar and 50 mbar were used in motorhomes and caravans. Make sure you choose a pressure regulator that supplies the correct gas pressure for the connected equipment.
Safety instructions:
- Mount the pressure regulator in an outdoor area or ventilated area. The pressure regulator has a pressure relief valve. For this reason, these parts may not be placed inside (the cabin) of a motorhome or caravan. These serve in a ventilated room, which is connected to the outside air and not connected to the indoor space.
- Read the instructions as supplied with the pressure regulator
NB! Mount the reducers on the pressure regulator using sealing gas tape or locking compound to ensure a good seal.
Only suitable for gas in vapor form from LPG vapor tank or gas bottle. (NOT suitable for liquid LPG)
Note the connection direction (flow direction) of both the gas filter and the pressure regulator. See arrow on product. Supply: IN, connection to small staircase and Offtake: OUT, connection to large staircase
TIP! Provide the parts with a protective coating such as a transparent tectile, for example, so that they are well protected against water and dirt from the outside.
