To protect your gas application in the event of a collision.
For example for a vapor gas system with electric tank valve / gas valve.
Normally Closed. Pressing the switch breaks the connection, de-energizing the switched relay. (Depending on pin positions used)
Limited splash-proof.
Press the Fuel Cut Off Switch to activate the system.
In the event of a shock (e.g. a collision), the switch releases and energizes a relay which interrupts the power to a gas valve, tank tap or pump. (see example diagrams).
