Truma External Gas connection Camper / Caravan for gas BBQ or gas stove
With the external Truma gas connection, campers can use gas outside the vehicle, for example for barbecuing. The gas connection is mounted in the body of the vehicle and is connected to the low-pressure route (downstream the pressure regulator).
With the gas connection point on your camper or caravan you can easily connect external gas appliances such as a barbecue, hob or lighting.
Furthermore, for the gas connection you need a gas pipe from the low-pressure route to supply the connection. And for gas extraction, a gas hose with an internal diameter of 8 mm that can be connected to the supplied plug-in coupling. The connection point is suitable for gas appliances with an operating pressure of 30 to 50 mbar.
The external gas connection is only approved for installation and use in "caravans" (caravans) of vehicle class O and "campers" (campers) of vehicle class M1.
When connecting external gas appliances, the working pressure of the gas supply 30 or 50 mbar must correspond to the working pressure of the appliance to be connected (see type plate).
The plug-in coupling can only be connected when the quick valve is in the closed position. The safety lock can be released by pushing back the coupling sleeve.
The coupling is designed in such a way that the outdoor connection can only be opened when the plug-in coupling is connected. Operation is possible with one hand. When disconnected, close the connection with the protective cap.
NB! Only suitable for gas extraction. NOT as a filling connection.
