LPG Toroidal Tank 65.5 Liter (Ø680x220) - GZWM 4-Hole incl. Fittings (Gas Tight Housing optional)

This type of LPG tank releases liquid LPG which is used as car fuel. Suitable for built-in and substructure installation and for most LPG systems: Landi Renzo, Vogels VGI, Eurogas, Prins VSI, BRC, Romano, Tartarini, AEB, etc.

NB! This type of LPG Tank has NO LPG Pump and is NOT suitable for Vialle LPi.

This LPG tank is equipped with 4 fittings; an 80% filling stop with non-return valve, an overpressure valve (blow-off valve), an electrical extraction valve and a level float meter. An optional gas tight housing (Tank box) encloses these fittings and can collect possible leaking gases.

A filling hose can be connected to the 80% filling valve with elbow, which is connected to a filling connection on the vehicle. The gas from the LPG tank is liquid must be evaporated and the pressure must be regulated by means of a evaporator.

Before ordering first check very carefully which type of LPG tank and which dimensions you need and what fits in your application. Exchanging an LPG tank is sometimes difficult, since the transport of heavy tanks is per pallet and is expensive. (Pick up may also be possible.)

Which Tank Fittings (Tank Valves) are supplied on the Tank?

Position of the tank fittings: Centrally placed at 52°.

- Tank outlet: Elec. Extraction Valve with coupling 5/16"UNF - 45°Flare (11W NC)

- Pressure relief valve 27 bar

- Tank level float meter (without sensor)

- 80% fill stop with 90° elbow with connection 1/2"UNF - 45° Flare Male (19mm)

- Gas Tight Housing / Tank box (Optionally at an extra cost)

After you have placed your order the tank valves will be mounted on the tank by us, as this is an expert job. The valves are therefore not supplied separately.

For which applications this LPG Tank is suitable?

This type of LPG tank produces liquid LPG which is used as car fuel. Suitable for built-in and substructure (below vehicle) installation at the location of the spare wheel (depending on the available space).
Suitable for most LPG systems: Landi Renzo, Vogels VGI, Eurogas, Prins VSI, BRC, Romano, Tartarini, AEB, etc.

NB! This type of LPG Tank has NO LPG Pump and is NOT suitable for Vialle LPi, for example.

If the LPG tank is placed inside the vehicle, the use of the optional gas tight housing is mandatory and it must be mounted gas-tight. To be used in combination with a vent hose and a bottom vent for discharging any gases to the outside.
This LPG tank is not suitable for heating and cooking on vapor gas as used in Motorhomes and Foodtrucks.

The Gas Tight Housing is Optional. Why?

Gas Tight Housing option: A Gas-tight-housing is used to protect the valves and, in the case of located inside the vehicle, to collect any gases from the tank and then to be able to discharge them via a vent hose and bottom vent. A gas-tight-housing is required if the LPG tank is placed in the interior of a vehicle and must be connected gas-tight by means of the supplied rubbers. A gas-tight-housing is not necessary if the LPG tank is placed in an outdoor area or in an open ventilated area. For example, under construction. Then the LPG tank can blow off directly into the open air.

Inside the vehicle / Under the vehicle in open air: In the case that the gas tank is placed inside the vehicle (built-in), it is necessary to provide the gas tank with a gas-tight housing (tank box) and a vent hose, etc., for draining of any possible gases to the outside.

The Fuel Level Gauge. How does it work?

Tank sensor: A tank sensor fits on the outside of the tank meter and rotates with the magnetic field of the tank meter and thus varies an elec. resistance value. The correct resistance curve for your car depends on the type of LED indicator and the gas system. Your application is unknown to us, therefore NO tank sensor is supplied as standard. When replacing, you can in principle simply transfer your current tank sensor from your old tank to the new tank. You can order a 0-90 Ohm sensor (most common type) separately. The tank does not need to be opened to insert or transfer the tank sensor. This is on the outside and is secured by means of two small screws.

Make sure the tank installation is properly done!

Have a gas tank installed by an authorized specialist! And have the entire installation inspected by a competent authority.

For a solid and safe installation, apply the RDW-GUIDELINES or the guidelines of your national authority.

Apply a minimum distance of 20cm to the road and 10cm to heat sources like the exhaust.

This type of LPG toroidal tank can be placed on the location of the spare wheel. This can be at the spare wheel well inside the vehicle or as LPG substructure in case the spare wheel is placed under the car. Read the related tutorials and instructions under attachments.

TIP!

In case of LPG substructure: Gas tank and valves provided with a protective coating (undercoating) for longer life. Repeat this annually.

Tank Certificate & Approval documents

Attention! A Tank Certificate is included with every new LPG Tank. This is usually stuck on the box or on the tank itself. This contains information about, among other things, the approval, production date and serial number. This document is unique and individual for the tank and very difficult to obtain again. So keep it very well! You may need it during the inspection of your car.

Shipping and processing of your order

The shipping costs depend on the delivery destination and the total weight of the order. You can see the shipping costs by placing the product(s) in the shopping cart and specifying the destination. Products heavier than 30 kg can no longer be sent as a package and must be transported on a pallet.

Alternatively, it is also possible to collect this product by appointment at Eindhoven (Ekkersrijt). In this case there are no additional transport costs and it is necessary that you first have completed the order and payment online with us.

After you have ordered the gas tank, we will prepare the LPG tank for you in the configuration you ordered, i.e. mounting the tank valves. This is an expert job and we need some time for this. For this reason, we are not always able to send the tank the same day or have it ready for collection.
