This part is used in combination with plastic LPG pipe LPG-XD-3 DN 5 (= Ø6 mm copper) and an LPG part with a compression connection. using a swivel and a compression ring, the pipe can be connected at a right angle 90°. Oetiker clamp is included. Excluding Swivel and compression ring.
This type of coupling piece consists of a 90° bent pipe, which enables a right-angle connection to the LPG part. using a swivel and a Ø6 mm compression ring it ensures the seal. The swivel and compression ring are NOT included, these are usually already present on the LPG part as standard.
Application: To connect plastic LPG pipe to, for example:
- An LPG gas valve (with M10x1 connections) at a 90° angle.
- An LPG evaporator (with M10x1 entrance) at a 90° angle.
- The exit of a Multivale on an LPG Tank (6mm version) at a 90° angle.
Fittings: A plastic LPG pipe is not connected directly to an LPG part, but coupling pieces are used on the ends of the pipe.
NB! A plastic LPG pipe is not connected directly to an LPG part, but coupling pieces are used on the ends of the pipe. These come in different shapes and sizes. There are also several types of plastic LPG pipe available. There are different diameters, but also brands and types of connectors. Make sure you use the correct one for your application in combination with the correct coupling pieces on the ends of the plastic pipe.
NB! Check the type of connection on the parts to which you want to connect the LPG pipe, such as the tank, gas valves, etc.
An Oetiker clamp (deformable hose clamp) is used to clamp the plastic pipe onto the coupling piece. This is included. Use an Oetiker forceps to squeeze this clamp properly. See also the images for illustration.
Tip! Apply a small amount of penetrating oil to the coupling O-rings before installing them in the plastic pipe. This simplifies the process.
