Coupling piece Straight LPG-FIT Flare-Nut 1/2" UNF 05 FNF-05-G for Plastic Pipe LPG-XD-5 (10mm)

This part is used in combination with plastic LPG Pipe LPG-XD-5 DN 8 (= Ø10mm Copper) on an LPG Tank (4-hole) or MV Gas bottle with 80% filling valve with elbow (1/2" UNF ) / or on the back of a fill connection (1/2" UNF). Cable gland and Oetiker clamp are included.

This type of coupling has a conical Flare connection (1/2"UNF) that ensures the sealing on the inlet (elbow) of an 80% fill valve on a 4-hole tank / MV Gas bottle. (1/2"UNF), but also on the back of a fill connection (1/2"UNF).

Application: To connect plastic LPG pipe to, for example:
- the inlet (elbow) of an 80% fill valve on a 4-hole tank (1/2"UNF).
- the back of a filling connection (1/2"UNF).

Fittings: A plastic LPG pipe is not connected directly to an LPG part, but coupling pieces are used on the ends of the pipe.

There are also several types of plastic LPG pipe available. There are different diameters, but also brands and types of connectors. Make sure you use the correct one for your application in combination with the correct coupling pieces on the ends of the plastic pipe.

NB! Check the type of connection on the parts to which you want to connect the LPG pipe, such as the tank, gas valves, etc.

An Oetiker clamp (deformable hose clamp) is used to clamp the plastic pipe onto the coupling piece. This is included. Use an Oetiker forceps to squeeze this clamp properly. See also the images for illustration.

Tip! Apply a small amount of penetrating oil to the coupling O-rings before installing them in the plastic pipe. This simplifies the process.
