Compression ring for Faro 8mm coupling for LPG flexpipe
Used in combination with plastic LPG pipe Type KF-0002 / Transfer Oil 1842 / Faro 8mm (= Ø8 mm Copper), a Ø8 mm compression ring (compression barrel) and a swivel Ø8 mm to seal a connection. A union nut and compression ring can be found with associated products. These are often already present on the LPG component to which you want to connect.
Widely used on, for example:
- Input of an LPG gas valve
- Input of an LPG evaporator
- Exit from a Multivale on an LPG Tank
Several variants of this type of connectors are available. Namely also a straight version and smaller versions for Ø6 mm couplings.
Use the correct type depending on the following aspects:
- In combination with the correct type of plastic LPG pipe (KF-0002 / Transfer Oil 1842 / Faro 8mm)
- In combination with the correct swivel and compression ring
- Size of the connection of an LPG Evaporator / Gas valve / MultiValve
(NOT SUITABLE FOR LPG-FIT PLASTIC PIPE)
As an alternative to copper pipe, plastic pipe is nowadays used with various advantages such as flexibility and that it does not kink quickly. To be able to connect the plastic pipe to another part, just as you would with a copper pipe, it is necessary to connect an end piece (coupling piece) of that type of pipe, which in turn is fitted with a Ø8 mm pipe (just like a copper pipe).
